Children must be provided with experiences and support which help them to develop a positive sense of themselves and of others; respect for others; social skills; and a positive disposition to learn. We at Studio Kids ensure support for children’s emotional well-being, to help them to know themselves and what they can do.

Studio Kids facilitates learning of immediate surroundings, people and community. It plays an important role in developing sensitivity to the environment, developing observational skills and learning to care and nurture the world amongst the kids. Activities like enactment of scenario – market, traffic light (road), field trips – to parks, historical monuments and farms etc are included in the curriculum.

The physical development of young children at Studio Kids is encouraged through the provision of opportunities for them to be active and interactive and to improve their skills of coordination, control, manipulation and movement. They are supported in using all of their senses to learn about the world around them and to make connections between new information and what they already know. They are helped in developing an understanding of the importance of physical activity and making healthy choices in relation to food.

Becoming a skilful communicator is fundamental to young children’s leaning and development. It enables formation of relationships and friendships, facilitates self expression. Studio Kids learn to communicate not just through speech, but also using gestures, facial and bodily expression, creative skills such as dancing, singing, drawing and through their play. We introduce them to pre-writing and letter and number formation which forms the foundation of writing skills. They have access to huge collection of books which can be read to by their teachers and by their parents at home. Role play , singing, dancing, story-telling and show and tell are just few of the regular activities which supports spontaneous use of language, expression of ideas and feelings in situations.

The Studio Kids’ curriculum helps the children relate skills with day to day life situations. The concepts are taught in a play way method by including activities like object counting, abacus counting, rote counting, peg board puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, songs and rhymes, games etc. A lot of logical thinking assignments based on the concepts are included in the curriculum.

To bring out the creative streak in every child and develop his or her cultural and aesthetic abilities, Studio Kids offers a series of activities in various creative areas.
